A man convicted of raping and killing a young girl in Easton still has a shot at a new trial.
Pennsylvania Superior Court has ordered Northampton County Court to reconsider Scott Oliver's case.
He was convicted of rape and murder in the death of 11-year-old Melissa Jaroschak in 1989.
Oliver's lawyers claim there's DNA evidence that proves his innocence.
Oliver appealed to state Superior Court after Northampton County Court denied his request for a new trial.
The court said the evidence was inconclusive.
