Teen arrested for Sunday morning Easton robberies
Toy plastic shotgun used
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for two early Sunday morning robberies on the south side of Easton.
Easton police arrested the unidentified teen shortly after noon Thursday,
The first robbery was in the 400 block of Davis Street at 12:27 a.m. Sunday. The second was reported as an attempted home invasion in the 600 block of Charles Street at about 1:45 a.m.
In both incidents it was reported that a shotgun was displayed. Police recovered a toy plastic shotgun in the area after the robberies.
At 11:32 p.m. Friday, a robbery at knife point was reported in the 100 block of Holt Street. Police believe the same boy also committed the Holt Street robbery.
Another 16-year-old boy who participated in Sunday's robberies on Davis and Charles streets was taken into custody earlier this week.
Both teens have been committed to Northampton County Juvenile Detention. Their names were not released because of their ages.
