Tyler J. Grays made threat with knife, then kicked in car door, police say
A man made a threat with a knife and then kicked the door of a car his intended victim ran into, officials said.
Tyler J. Grays ran toward Edgardo Diaz with a silver and black pocket knife yelling, "I'm gonna poke you" in the 1300 block of Eastwood Road, Bethlehem, at 3 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.
When Diaz ran into his girlfriend's 2012 Hyundai Elantra, Grays kicked the rear driver's side door and put a 12- to 15-inch dent in it, officials said, adding that Grays caused $600 in damage.
Grays, 22, of 1438 Ferry St., Easton, was arraigned early Wednesday morning on charges of making terroristic threats, assault and criminal mischief and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. May 15.
