Vince Lebish breaks into home, arrested, police say
A man was arrested shortly after breaking into a home and then walking away, officials said.
Vince M. Lebish broke the front door and removed a basement window of a home at 1015 3rd St., North Catasauqua, Northampton Co., before leaving on foot at about 4:05 p.m. Monday, officials said.
Lebish was detained by police in the 1000 block of Front Street, a short distance from the crime scene, because he matched the description of the break-in suspect, officials said, adding that a neighbor later identified Lebish as the man who broke into the Third Street home.
Lebish, 35, of 133 East 4th St., Northampton, Northampton Co., was arraigned on charges of burglary and criminal trespass and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $20,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 4 p.m. May 9.
