ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Residents of one neighborhood in Allentown unexpectedly found themselves living on waterfront property.

A broken water main flooded the area of North 13th and West Liberty streets late Tuesday morning. Water covered the streets and sidewalks until crews could isolate the leak.

Work is now underway to replace the 12-inch line, which is expected to take a couple days, said city spokesman Mike Moore.

In the meantime, the intersection of North 13th and West Liberty will be remain closed to traffic.
