Wilson police warn residents following two burglaries
Both Thursday morning incidents occured while residents were home
After two burglaries of occupied homes Thursday morning, Wilson police are urging residents to keep their doors and windows locked and to be vigilant about suspicious people or activities.
The burglaries of occupied homes in the borough occurred between 8 and 10 a.m. Thursday.
One house is in the 2400 block of Freemansburg Avenue. The other is in the 1500 block of Butler Street.
Police report a suspect entered the homes through unlocked rear doors and took items and money.
The only description is that the suspect may have been wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
