A woman who confessed to having crack cocaine in her bra last month told police she bought the drugs so she and her friends could have a good time, officials aid.

Amy L. Noblett was taken into custody when police found her in possession of a crack pipe after her silver Oldsmobile was stopped along Daly Avenue, just west of the Sands casino, in Bethlehem around 6 p.m. July 16, officials said.

Police were following Noblett after a man was seen handing her something as she sat in her car, which was parked in the 600 block of Evans Street, officials said, adding that Noblett had dropped her pants and urinated in a grassy area a short distance from her car beforehand.

Noblett told police she had $200 worth of crack in her bra and a hypodermic needle in her purse while she was being taken to headquarters, officials said, noting that 15 small orange plastic baggies were found in a larger plastic bag during a strip search.

Noblett said she bought the drugs with money her friends gave her so they could all have "a good night," officials said.

Noblett, 39, of 4163 Nazareth Pike, Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton Co., was arraigned Tuesday on charges of drug possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $30,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Sept. 10.
