ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Woofstock, the dog's version of the tye-dye event, was in Allentown Saturday.

It was the city's second annual dog park fundraiser, put on by the Friends of the Allentown Parks.

There were more than 40 vendors- Petco set up an agility course and there was a groovy dog contest.

The proposed park would be on Auburn Street, just past the Good Shepard Rehabilitation Center.

Karen Elchaar, Friends of the Allentown Parks, said, "As you can see there are a alot of dogs and if you walk through our parks and you'll see people walking their digs and there's been a lot of public request for it. "

The proposed park would have small and large dog corrals, a pavilion for people and their pets, and water fountains for both as well.
