Longtime Pennsylvania State Representative Jennifer Mann said goodbye Tuesday.
Mann gave a farewell speech in Harrisburg.
The Democrat from Allentown spoke about her career and her work on several issues in the state.
She also talked about what she says is an obligation beyond individual responsibility for lawmakers.. and obligation to others.
Mann was elected in 1998 and announced last year she would not be seeking her eighth term.
She was one of 133 women to serve as a state representative and only one of three women to serve in Democratic leadership in the history of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
