Man On Trial In Connection With Home Invasion, Assault Enters Surprise Guilty Plea
Luis Martinez Pleads Two Days Into Trial

A man accused in a home invasion in downtown Bethlehem has entered a surprise guilty plea two days into the trial.
The plea came just after James Lutz testified that Martinez and another man duct taped him to a bench in the basement of his Bethlehem home in June 2010 and doused him with a chemical.
The other defendant, Jeremiah Nieves, 25, of Bethlehem, pleaded guilty last month in the case.
