A man who allegedly used strong-arm tactics to settle a debt is facing charges.
Roy Ortega-Caceres punched Artemio Jimenez outside Jimenez's home at 640 Williams St. in Bethlehem and took his wallet at about 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
Jimenez valued the wallet and its contents at $150, officials said.
When Ortega-Caceres, 38, was found by police at the Lynn Athletic Association, 1629 East 5th St., he told them he took the wallet, but threw it out the window of his car in the 800 block of Williams Street, officials said.
Oretga-Caceres, of 931 Mechanic St., Bethlehem, was arraigned on charges of simple assault, theft, receiving stolen property, making terroristic threats and harassment.
He was committed to the Northampton County Prison on $30,000 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 3.
