Police in Bethlehem say an accident involving a motorist and a pedestrian has sent one man to the hospital. 

It happened shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday near the corner of Broad Street and Sixth Avenue.

Police said a man was hit by a vehicle. Eyewitnesses on the scene say the man hit was a delivery person. 

Police said an investigation is ongoing.

The site of the crash left Bethlehem traffic in a stand-still.
