Man holds up Whitehall gas station at gunpoint
Whitehall Police are investigating after a man held up a gas station at gunpoint Saturday morning.
It happened at the Top Star Mobile in the 2700 block of MacArthur Road around 8:40am, according to Police Sgt. Brian Cuth.
Cuth said a man went into the store brandishing a black firearm and demanded the cash drawer. He got away with an undetermined amount of money, according to police. The suspect fled on foot north on MacArthur Road.
Police said the man was a light skinned black male, approximately 5'5''-5'7'' with a thin build. He was wearing a dark colored baseball hat, a light gray hooded sweatshirt, black track pants with a double thin white stripe down the outside of the leg, and dark shoes.
