Man robs Hamilton Books & Video; employee hurt when robber pushed her down
A man got away with an undetermined amount of cash when he robbed a business in downtown Allentown.
Police said the armed robber held up Hamilton Book & Video at 1051 Hamilton Street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
A 27-year-old employee, Genesis Sabastro, suffered an ankle injury when the robber pushed her to the ground, police said.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black or Hispanic man, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and a white hockey-type mask. He had a black or dark-colored handgun.
He fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
Sabastro was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.
The case is still under investigation.
