Mayor promises snow for the weekend

The mayor of Easton is promising snow for this weekend's snowboarding competition in the city's downtown.

The "Red Bull Butter Cup Rail Jam" is set for Saturday in Centre Square.

The event was in doubt because of mild winter temperatures.

But Mayor Sal Panto says the contest will go on -- with snow imported from Big Boulder Ski Area.

The competition will feature professional snow boarders and local amateurs.
