A Coopersburg constable is ready to move into the judge's chambers.

Michael Zweifel announced his candidacy for magisterial district court 31-3-03, which serves Coopersburg, Lower Milford and Upper Saucon townships.

Zweifel has been a constable since 1992.

He's running for the seat that will be vacated as Judge David Harding retires.

Zweifel is a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Southern Lehigh High School and attended DeSales University.
