ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

An elementary school in Allentown is on clean-up duty after mold was discovered in more than a dozen classrooms.

Officials in the Allentown School District say mold was found in the carpets of 16 classrooms at Sheridan Elementary and the school library.

The district will be hiring an outside company to remove the carpets and clean each room.

Officials say the school will then be re-tested before the beginning of the school year on September 3rd.
