It's still a week away but students and staff at Moravian College in Bethlehem are celebrating Thanksgiving a little early.

And this turkey dinner came with a twist.

Faculty and staff members at the school served students a traditional Thanksgiving meal Wednesday night.

Students we spoke with say it's nice to have a different experience with their teachers outside of the classroom.

"We were encouraged to dress up a little bit so we would look a little bit nicer for our faculty members because they're not our traditional servers so we're pretty excited about that," said senior Fernando Cifuentes.

Nearly 60 faculty and staff members helped out serving.

And it turns out this tradition actually dates back more than four decades.
