The Play 60 program was in full swing Saturday afternoon in Lehigh County.
Kids and coaches gathered at Camp Olympic in Emmaus to play in a flag football tournament.
Around 150 kids signed up for the NFL-licensed event that was launched in 2007 to encourage kids to go outside and play at least 60 minutes a day.
"A lot of kids these days are spending their time in front of screens. This gets them out..gets kids who may never play an organized sport like football, gives them a chance to be apart of a team. Everybody plays every position, so there is nobody left out. No favorites, no favoritism. It gets them out and having a good time," said coach Brooke Moyer.
The NFL has dedicated more than $200 million to help fight child obesity.
