The ribbon has been cut and Pocono Medical Center's new Cancer Center is officially open.

The Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center opened its doors for the first time this afternoon on Brown Street in East Stroudsburg.

The $31 million facility features the most advanced technology and human-centered care the region has ever offered.

A thousand lights of hope were lit on the building's pedestrian bridge in commemoration of those who have had their life touched by cancer.
