Nolvis Rivera-Garcia reaches plea deal in rape of girl, 7
An Allentown man who's accused of raping a young girl has reached a plea deal.
Nolvis Rivera-Garcia pleaded no contest to the charges on the same day his trial was set to begin, said the Lehigh County district attorney's office.
Rivera-Garcia sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl on South 6th Street in July 2011, said police, who noted that the girl's mother caught him in the act.
He will be sentenced in June.
