The Northampton Area School District is looking at implementing a dress code.

The Northampton Area School Board is now considering the matter.

A public presentation is set for next month -- March 25th.

District Superintendent Joseph Kovalchik claims a dress code would eliminate classroom disruptions, reduce bullying and increase school pride.

He says it would also let administrators focus on academics instead of discipline.

A final decision on the matter is expected by the end of April.
