A young woman was killed in a car crash near the Southmoore Golf Course in Northampton County overnight, officials said.

The accident happened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday on Route 512 in Moore Township.

Jacquelyn Birk, 19, of Bath, was killed when her car went off the road and hit a tree, officials said. No one else was in the car.
