PPL is reporting a slump in its third quarter earnings.
The power company says it earned $355 million for the period that ended September 30th.
That works out to about 61 cents a share.
PPL made $444 million dollars during the same period a year ago.
Still PPL says its year-to-date earnings continue to show improvement.
