Passenger injured in head-on collision in Washington Township

Those involved in a head-on collision Thursday night in Washington Township, Northampton County came away with no major injuries, police said.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. when a Jeep Cherokee crashed into a Ford pick-up truck while turning into a shopping plaza at Blue Valley Drive and America Bangor Road, police said.

Neither driver was injured, however a passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries to the face and was treated at St. Luke's Bethlehem before being released.
