The owners of the soon-to-be Lehigh Valley Phantoms are showing their appreciation for construction workers in an appetizing manner.

Jim and Rob Brooks broke out the grill Wednesday in Allentown at the site of the Phantoms' future home.

They provided lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs for some 200 construction workers.

"[It's] something different, you know, a chance to meet people from the team. This is something they're really proud of, building this facility for the community," said Phantoms co-owner Jim Brooks.

Construction on what will become the PPL Center is expected to wrap up next year with the first puck dropping in the fall.
