A woman who knows about the importance of manual labor is keeping hard work alive in the Lehigh Valley.
Renowned photographer and storyteller Sally Wiener Grotta brought her project, "Pennsylvania Hands," to the Salvation Army in Bethlehem Thursday.
It's part of her ongoing project called "American Hands."
Grotta studies people who specialize in traditional trades: from blacksmiths and bookbinders, to rug makers and glassblowers.
She said it's important to keep those facets of our culture alive.
