One of Allentown's most famous icons made a rare appearance Thursday night.
Pip the mouse was on hand at the Liberty Bell Museum.
He was in attendance to help celebrate his 50th anniversary in the Queen City.
Pip was made famous as the holiday-time mascot for Hess' department store back in 1962.
Kids on hand enjoyed a holiday puppet show while older folks took in a history lesson about Pip and his "Pippateers".
