A local developer's plans to build an apartment complex in the Lehigh Valley have been shot down.

At a meeting Thursday night, the Bethlehem Planning Bureau rejected Abe Atiyeh's plan to build the complex in the 1800 block of Center Street in Bethlehem.

Officials said the plans were denied due to ordinance requirements and because Atiyeh didn't give enough detail about the complex.
