Three LV men arrested in Bucks Co. drug bust

Three area men have been arrested in connection with a big drug bust in Bucks County.

Bensalem Police say they seized 40 pounds of cocaine early Monday, with a street value of $8 million, as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Police have arrested six men -- half with Lehigh Valley ties -- when they seized 40 pounds of cocaine early Monday morning.

Investigators say the cocaine was transported from Mexico to a warehouse in Bensalem for redistribution.

Arrested were: 35-year-old Jairo Nunez-Dejesus of Allentown, 34-year-old Antonio Ferreira of Whitehall, and 34-year-old John Torres of Macungie were among the six men arrested.

They're all citizens of the Dominican Republic.

Also arrested Monday were Alfonso Vallejo, 45, of Brownsville, Texas, Fernando Garcia, 31, of Philadelphia, and Arnaldo Rodriguez, 33, also of Philadelphia.

Each was arrested on a felony charge of manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to deliver or manufacture drugs and related charges.

Each was arraigned Monday and sent to the Bucks County Prison in lieu of $1 million bail.
