A member of a Lehigh County District Attorney Task Force has been injured, Allentown police confirm.

A member of a Task Force was hurt Tuesday night when the officer was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Amanda and Court streets in Allentown around 10:00, police said.

Initial reports indicate the accident was a hit-and-run. 

The officer, police said, did not suffer life threatening injuries.
