A woman was arrested for stealing 16 fragrance gift sets from a drug store two weeks ago, officials said.
Ruth A. Gruhler was seen on a surveillance tape taking the merchandise worth $319.84 from the Walgreens at 2535 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Northampton Co., and placing it in a bag strapped to her shoulder at about 10:30 Dec. 2, officials said.
Gruhler, 50, of 117 North 4th St., Easton, was arraigned Sunday night on a retail theft charge and released on $7,500 unsecured bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 26.
