Police say they have made an arrest in the illegal use of a debit/credit card two months ago.
Tiffany Lichtfield, 25, was arraigned Friday night in connection with a June 6 theft of $220 reported by Donald Good, 213 Bushkill St., Stockertown, Northampton Co.
Good described Lichtfield as "a family friend," officials say.
Good called police on June 7 to report two unauthorized transactions from Western Union, and police were told by Western Union on June 11 that Lichtfield made the transactions, officials say.
Lichtfield had promised to come into police headquarters for an interview, but never showed up, officials say.
Lichtfield, of 232 Meyer Road, Nazareth, Northampton Co., was arraigned on charges of theft, receiving stolen property charges and illegally using a credit/debit card and committed to Northampton County Prison on $2,500 bail, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. next Monday, Aug. 13.
