BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Bethlehem Police are checking out reports of two separate robberies Monday.

The first happened around 12:15 a.m. on Eighth Avenue.

Police said four people were approached by five to eight young men who demanded money, and stole about $60.

The robbers were described as Hispanic and/or black, and none were taller than 5 feet, 5 inches tall. They were all between the ages of 16 and 21 years old.

No weapons were seen on any of the robbers.

The second burglary took place around 3 p.m. on Spring Street.

Police said a black man approached the female victim, grabbed her right arm, and took the cell phone from her hand.

He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a heavy build.
