Police investigating strong armed robbery

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown police are investigating after two men entered a store and robbed it Saturday afternoon.

It happened at Reese's Market in the 800 block of north 8th Street in the city, according to police.

Officials said two hispanic males entered the market and pushed the clerk to the ground.  Police said the men then took an undetermined amount of money from the register and fled on foot.

The clerk received minor injuries and did not seek medical attention, police said.

The men are described as approximately 5'10'' to six feet tall, and police said both were wearing black masks.

One of the men was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with red letters on it, the other man was wearing a black sweater with dark colored jeans, according to police.

The pair was last heading northbound on Lumber Street.
