Prostitution sting brings 11 arrests in center city Allentown
Allentown Police conducted a prostitution sting operation Thursday that netted 11 arrests.
The operation, from noon to 6 p.m., targeted those engaged in prostitution and johns soliciting sex for money, police said.
Those arrested include:
Jose G. Roman, 44, of 821 Linden Street, charge of prostitution;
Edward Genesemer, 66, of 282 W. 31st Street, charge of prostitution;
Scott Harden, 42, 195 Creek Road, Kutztown, charge of prostitution;
Donna Knauss, 52, 1013 Court Street, charge of prostitution;
Hesham Ibrahim, 27, 128 W. Tilghman Street, charge of prostitution;
Romualdo Caraballo, 47, 125 S. Carlisle, charge of prostitution, resisting arrest, drug arrest, drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct;
Ermelindo Pitre, 48, 322 N. Front, charge of prostitution;
Joseph Weaver, 37, 47 E. Third St., Wind Gap, charge of prostitution;
Ronnie Price, 59, 464 Northampton, Easton, charge of prostitution;
Argenis Nunez, 31, 1338 Chew St., charge of prostitution;
Shannon McMonigle, 24, 733 Walnut Stree, charge of prostitution, bad checks, theft and receiving stolen property.
