Lehigh County is testing a new emergency information system.

The county will test "Reverse 911" Wednesday.

The system calls homes in the area of an emergency with a informational message.

Landline customers with Verizon, Frontier and Ironton phone systems already have the service.

Officials are urging you to sign up for "Reverse 911" if you don't have those services.
