Officials are asking for the public's help in finding the people who vandalized dozens of gravestones.

About 30 monuments were knocked over at Riverview Cemetery and St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery in Upper Mount Bethel Twp., Northampton Co., near Portland, said the cemetery's caretakers, who added that several angel statues were also smashed.

They believe the damage was done sometime during the weekend of April 15.

Cleanup could take several hours, and insurance is unlikely to cover the damages, cemetery officials said.

The cemetery caretakers are offering a $200 reward for information that will lead to the arrest of the vandals. Anyone with information should call state police.
