Police in Allentown are looking for three men who posed as police officers to commit a robbery.
Investigators say one of the robbers even dressed the part.
It happened around 11:30 Wednesday night.
Three men knocked on the door of an Allentown apartment on Livingston Street, police said
One of them was dressed as a police officer and convinced the victim to let them in, once inside, police say one of the men held the victim while the other two robbed the home.
Police say the man wearing the police uniform also spoke Spanish which may have helped gain the victim's trust.
A neighbor, who chose not to disclose his identity, says his wife knows the victim“My wife has some classes with him at the university, he's studying to learn English” he said.
Allentown police say the robbers are described as three black men, all between 5'6" and 5'10".
One was wearing the police uniform and was of average build, while one of the others was described as thin with dreadlocks, wearing a green hat.
The third was wearing a red shirt and black pants also of average build.

Investigators say officers will always have a patch on their uniform as well as a badge and a photo I-D stating who they are.
Police also say its a good idea to look for a police car or bicycle.
