Standoff ends peacefully; man taken to hospital

A standoff hended peacefully with a man being taken to a hospital.

Police had surrounded a home near the 1400 block of Hanover Avenue Wednesday where a man threatened to harm himself.

It started around 5 p.m., closing many roads in the area.  The standoff ended just before 8 p.m.

There was no one else inside the home, police said.
