BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Some children in Bethlehem aren't letting the summer just skate by. They're attending a summer camp that's all about skateboarding.

The camp is run by the Northampton Community College's Horizons for Youth program and is being held at the Bethlehem Skateplaza.

The kids are learning more than just how to ride on four wheels, organizers said.

"Skateboarding is a very creative activity, something that teaches kids good life lessons, like how to be determined because when you skate, you're going to fall and you're going to have to get up over and over again," said Andy Po, owner, Homebase Skate Shop.

There are still a few sessions left. If you're interested, you can sign up through NCC or Homebase Skate Shop in Bethlehem.
