Teen admits robbing 2 Allentown convenience stores

A teen has admitted to robbing a pair of convenience stores in Allentown.
Court documents say 18-year-old Javier Toro told police he robbed the Turkey Hill in the 1200 block of Lehigh Street last Friday, and the 7-Eleven in the 1800 block of South Fourth Street on Sunday.
Officials say he fled after was pulled over by police in the 400 block of Hamilton Street for a routine traffic stop on Tuesday.
Police say, when they eventually caught up with Toro in the 100 block of Penn Street, he was hiding under a car.
Court documents say he was wearing a 'Scream'-type mask during the robbery.
Toro has been charged with robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.
