BANGOR, Pa. -

Police in Northampton County have arrested two men suspected of dealing drugs in Bangor.

Agents from the Bangor, Colonial Regional, Moore and Washington Township Police Departments acting under the authority of the Northampton County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home at 25 south 9th Street in Bangor, officials said.

Members of the task force arrested Steven Lix and Terrill Sorey, both 19, of Bangor in the sweep.

Inside the home, task force members said they found 30 packets of heroin, along with packaging material.

Officials said Lix is charged with two counts each of delivery of crack cocaine, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of cocaine, and conspiracy. He was also charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sorey was charged with conspiracy to deliver crack cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, and conspiracy to possess cocaine.

Officials said the charges stem from two prior incidents when Lix and Sorey sold drugs to a cooperating witness with the drug task force.

Lix and Sorey were both processed and arraigned Saturday morning.
