Two men involved in Allentown night club shooting sentenced
Two men who have entered guilty pleas in connection with an Allentown nightclub shooting were each sentenced to 24 months in jail on Friday by Lehigh County Judge James T. Anthony.
Officials say Keith Brissett and Brian Francis, both sentenced on Friday, were involved in the shooting of Teddy Bell of Brooklyn outside Club Horizon on Airport Road back in April.
Another man, Amos Muir, who is accused of Bell's murder, is still awaiting trial.
On Friday, Brissett, who pleaded guilty in November to a felony charge of hindering apprehension, was sentenced to time served to 24 months in jail and a consecutive three years of probation.
Brissett has been in jail since the April incident and will be transferred to a New York jail for a parole/probation violation there.
Officials say Brissett hid the murder weapon. He was a passenger the vehicle that fled from the murder scene.
Francis, who also pleaded guilty in November to a misdemeanor charge of hindering apprehension, was sentenced to time served to 24 months in jail.
Officials say Francis was the driver of the car that fled from the murder scene.
