ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

The Philadelphia Phillies may not have to wait too much longer to get a much needed boost in its line-up.

All-star second baseman Chase Utley is scheduled to make rehab start for the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs on Tuesday at Coca-Cola Park.

Utley has been sidelined all season with lingering problems in his knees.

Early reports say if all goes well Tuesday night against the Rochester Red Wings, the Phillies could activate Utley on Wednesday.

Tuesday's first pitch is scheduled for 7:05.
