Hundreds of people braved rain early Tuesday morning while they waited for the box office to open.
The tradition of waiting in line started 20 years ago. Many in line tell us they love the tradition of coming back year after year and seeing the same faces.
State Theater's Shelly Brown told us Tuesday's sales are for members only. Tickets for the general public go on sale August 15.
Also hanging out is Daivd Caserta. The illusionist is levitating off the theaters marrquee. It's to promote his October 27 show Haunted Illusions.
He says he will be hanging until 86 tickets are sold, to celebrate 86th year of the State Theatre.
Online sales start at noon Tuesday. But what is the fun in that?
