Wilson Borough Police are investigating the strong armed robbery of a Burger King employee in the restaurant parking lot.

It happened around 3pm Wednesday at the Burger King at 300 South 25th street in the borough.

Police said a female employee was leaving the restaurant to make a deposit.  She was sitting in her vehicle when a Hispanic male in his mid twenties approached her, reached into the vehicle and stole her deposit, according to police.

The man fled the area in a silver sedan and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The victim wasn't injured in the robbery, and no weapons were displayed.
