One woman stabbed another in the back early Thursday morning in Easton.
Ana Irma Hernandez, 37, who resides in an apartment in the first block of N. 4th Street, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
Shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday, Easton police responded to a report of a stabbing at that apartment building.
They were met by the unidentified victim in the building's lobby, who had been stabbed once in the back. She was conscious and alert, according to police.
She told police she was stabbed on the second floor by Hernandez.
Hernandez was arrested without incident. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
