Bethlehem school affected by mold finally set to reopen
A Bethlehem elementary school will finally reopen this Tuesday after issues with mold had forced a shutdown during the opening week of school.
Bethlehem Area School District officials announced today that Farmersville Elementary School will be following the Labor Day holiday.
Farmersville students were originally scheduled to return to school last Monday, but officials delayed the opening after mold was found inside.
School officials say an independent contractor cleaned the affected areas.
They say the decision was made to reopen the school after air quality tests came up clean.
