BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

Police officers in part of Northampton County are cracking down on aggressive drivers.

The Bethlehem Township Police Department started its aggressive-driving enforcement initiative Monday.

Officers will be out from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., pulling over drivers who are speeding, tailgating, rolling through stop signs and not wearing seat belts.

The department is focusing on William Penn Highway and Easton Avenue, especially in the school zone outside Farmersville Elementary School.

The initiative is scheduled to continue through the end of September.
